Robert T. Fishman joined Ridley, McGreevy & Weisz on January 1, 2006. Mr. Fishman’s practice focuses on civil and criminal appellate advocacy in both State and Federal courts. Mr. Fishman is frequently hired by trial lawyers to assist them in constructing legal theories and pleadings in both criminal and civil trial litigation. Mr. Fishman has also litigated Civil Rights claims pursuant to section 1983, and Media/ First Amendment matters.

Following Mr. Fishman’s graduation from the University of Colorado’s School of Law in 1992, Mr. Fishman clerked for Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Luis D. Rovira for two years. After his clerkship with Justice Rovira, Mr. Fishman clerked for Judge Wade Brorby on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Fishman was awarded the Order of the Coif in law school, and he served as Articles Editor for the University of Colorado Law Review.

Mr. Fishman is regular volunteer at The Denver Dumb Friends League animal shelter, and he also is an avid hiker.

Mr. Fishman was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Michigan State University before attending law school.
